Koh Chang in the Trad province is part of the Koh Chang Marine National Park with 52 islands, all well preserved in nature with rainforests, colorful corals and ample marine lives, pristine beaches and crystal clear sea. The island is covered with dense jungle and steep mountains, ideal for trekking and mountain biking. Beautiful waterfalls on the island include Khlong Phlu and Than Mayom. But it is mainly the magnificent beaches on the west coast that draw  visitors. Accommodation on the island ranges from simple huts to comfortably equipped and well designed resort hotels.
