Pai has become a popular destination and center of trekking tours. It is a small village, located between Chiang Mai and Mae Hong son, surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers. Many hot springs in the near vicinity offer opportunities for a reviving break. The atmosphere in Pai is relaxing, and it is a good place for undemanding valley walks, rafting on the Pai river, elephant rides and for trekking to Karen, Lisu and Lahu villages.
