Most people head
for Samet island, renowned for its white sandy beaches,
irregular shaped rocks and clear waters. Part of a marine
national park, the island’s beaches are clean and relaxing
and stretch mainly along the East Coast, with Sai Kaeo
and Wong Duan the most popular. There are less beaches
on the west coast which is dominated by cliffs and rocks.
However, Ao Prao beach on the northern tip is beautifully
shaped and good for both swimming and snorkeling. |
